Cory Fite continued...

Cory worked for a long-time friend Skip Maggoria at his successful music store (Skips Music) as a technician and electronics repair person for 19 years while finding his way in the music and band business where he played and worked both locally in Sacramento, California as well as cities such as Los Angeles, Nashville, Sidney, and others. When moving to Los Angeles Cory signed a publishing contract with Oak Tree Productions under Louie Shelton. Cory then married and relocated back to Sacramento and Skips Music for a short period of time before moving to Sydney Australia to work on Seals and Crofts new Album. He then returned to the U.S. in 1985.

Through the years Cory developed his talents into a Master Pro Tools engineer where his talent, eventually at Warner Brothers, helped many artists such as Amy Grant and others impact the billboard charts with his mastering skills.

Cory played with many bands and individuals during his musical span including “Clancy”, “Love Ride 7”, and eventually co-founding “The Bobs Your Uncle Band” with Jeff Newland where for over four decades they collaborated on everything from jingle radio, pop songs, to musical soundtracks together in the recording studio or with a wonderful group of outstanding musical artists who added to the BYUB sound.

Cory’s unique talents were also very well known in the music industry where along the way he developed lifelong friendships with some of the top players in the world.  Cory would stay in the “Bobs Your Uncle Band” until his passing in 2021. The massive number of songs he wrote and co-wrote were as they say, “Off the Charts”.

To totally describe Cory Fite in a few paragraphs is almost impossible with all his accomplishments. But I can say one thing that was most important…...

His family and friends especially his great children, Layla, Lindsey, and Nathen.

There will only be one Cory Fite …………
